24 birds removed from condo after woman found dead in Stamford (CT)

Fierst said that it appeared that the birds, which ranged from babies to adults, hadn’t been fed for days. Detective Bureau supervisor Lt. Diedrich Hohn said it appeared the woman had been dead for a few days.  “She was a passionate bird lover and a customer for many years,” Fierst said. “She started to collect small birds, lovebirds, parakeets. I even gave her pairs of birds, because she would breed them for me and bring me the babies. She was a lovely, lovely lady.”
