Alabama Law on Homeowners Association Dues

Homeowners associations don’t always get along with their members. In Alabama, some homeowners say that they have no oversight into how the association spends the dues they pay. Alabama associations have no obligation to share any financial information with owners, before or after they buy. The state legislature has discussed changing the laws to provide more disclosure, but it has yet to happen.    Read more……..
