Amended Law Eases Audit Requirement for Small Condo Complexes (VI)

Introduced in January, Sen. Nereida “Nellie” Rivera-O’Reilly’s bill to exempt condominium complexes of 10 units or less from the requirement of an annual audit drew little public attention as it wended its way through the committee process. The Legislature passed it in August, and Gov. Kenneth Mapp signed it into law along with a number of other measures.    Read the article……….
