Condo association may not employ a board member’s spouse

Question: We live in a 74-unit townhome community with an annual budget over $150,000. The board consists of five members who have been serving for over 10 years, with the exception of the board secretary.  The board president’s husband has served as the maintenance director since 2007. He oversees all of the maintenance personnel and obtains all of the bids for needed services.     Read the Q&A………………
