Bella Vista POA Holds Emergency Meeting (AR)

Bella Vista home owners attended an emergency meeting hoping to hear the counsel call a recount of the votes.  There was confusion understanding how an “abstain” vote was tabulated when the votes came out unfavorable for the assessment increase.  Home owners were disappointed to find out that an abstain vote on question 1 still counted toward the total number of votes.  There were 147 votes that abstained, those votes kept the favorable percentage at 50.86 percent just 0.14 percent shy of the 51 percent needed to pass the vote.     Read the article……………
