Borneo: Sheda wants draft of proposed amendments to strata title law

The Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) has asked the Land and Survey Department (LSD) to extend a draft of the proposed amendments to the Strata Title Ordinance.  This was to enable the association – a stakeholder – to be included in the consultation process before the proposal is tabled at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) and gazetted.  Sheda, in a statement yesterday, said this was among the issues discussed with newly-appointed LSD director Zaidi Mahdi during a courtesy call on him last week.  It pointed out that a lab session on the proposed amendments to the Strata Title Ordinance would be organised soon.      Read the article…………….
