Campton Hills VP threatens veto to stop hiring of second law firm Fox Mill acreage at issue (IL)

Kristin LeBlanc, former president of the homeowners association, said the trustees made the Fox Mill homeowners look foolish at the town hall meeting. She said the acreage involved is 275 acres.  “We knew they were taking action to have somebody else take possession of our land and maintain control,” LeBlanc said. “They feel that Fox Mill should not have ownership of the land and that it should be owned by a governmental body. … We are taking care of the land better than any governmental body could do.”  Trustees’ comments at the Campton Hills town hall meeting in July made it clear the village was not interested in acquiring the Fox Mill land.    Read the article…………….
