Community association rules different from state laws

Q: A recent story in the Sun Sentinel said cities can’t ban short-term rentals under state law. I own a condo in Pompano Beach. The board has a rule that limits owners from renting the unit for the first year, and only one rental is allowed per year. Doesn’t that violate state law?    Read the Q&A………….
