Condo board member wants to quit

Q: I was a board member of my condominium association and resigned in writing because I believed there was property manager/board incompetence. Now I would like to call a meeting of the unit owners to discuss various issues, but the board and property manager refuse to accept my resignation and state I am not allowed to call a meeting because I am only one member of the board.
