Mill Woods condo complex goes up in flames

Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fire Friday that badly damaged a Mill Woods condo building.  Deputy fire chief Scott MacDonald said the fire was reported at 11:03 a.m., the first crews responded within three minutes. A second alarm was called at 11:09 a.m.  Neighbours say the fire seemed to start in a middle unit in one of several buildings in the Emerald Place Condominiums, near 26 Avenue and 79 Street. They said it escalated quickly and blew out the windows of a unit that quickly became engulfed in flames.    Read the article…………….
