Condo culture: Volunteers must step up, or hire property manager

Q: We are a very small condominium community and have been self-managed for the last several years. Our board has done a terrific job. However, now the board has decided they want to consider hiring a property manager. Hiring outside management would significantly increase our monthly condo fee. Our fees are already high enough as it is. Can we the owners prevent the board from hiring a property manager?   Read the Q&A……….
