Condo Fire On Beau Drive In Des Plaines (IL)

One person was being treated for injuries suffered in a condo fire on Des Plaines’ west side Friday afternoon.  Crews were dispatched to the Elmdale Condominiums in the 900 block of Beau Drive around 12:20 p.m. According to Fire Chief Alan Wax, they encountered heavy smoke in a first-floor unit and one victim who was already out of the building. That individual was being taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, said Wax, but their condition was unknown at the time.    Read the article………….
