High River condo honoured with award

High River’s The View at Sunrise condominium was presented an award, an honour which is a source of pride for board members and residents—many working hard to further enhance camaraderie.  Darryl Peterson, president of the board, told the Times the ages 50-plus facility received Condominium of the Year from the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) of South Alberta.  “We have quite a community spirit within the building,” he said. “We’re a community in ourselves. There’s 44 residences in (The View at Sunrise) and there’s all sorts of activities.”  The award was presented to the board at the institute’s annual general meeting, which was held in late September at Calgary’s Hotel Blackfoot.
