Condo Q&A: How do we stop our board from instituting a no-pets rule?

Q. We have a new board of directors and they want to ban all pets in our condominium. According to our declaration, pets are not banned. There is, however, a rule on the number of dogs, and their maximum weight, that must be adhered to.
