India: Gurgaon condominium residents protest against erratic power supply

Residents of Unitech The Residences, a gated condominium in Sector 33, protested outside Unitech chairman’s office in Sector 45 on Saturday over erratic power supply. They demanded Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) electricity connections instead of supply through generators.  Nearly 250 residents gathered to complain about frequent power cuts as the supply is from gensets provided by the builder. They said though the flats were handed over in August 2014 and all charges, including electrification, were paid to Unitech, the condominium lacks adequate power infrastructure.      Read the article…………..
