Water from broken shower-control valve overwhelms west Madison condos (WI)

Two west Madison homes are uninhabitable because of water damage from a valve leak Thursday, officials said.  The Madison Fire Department said firefighters arrived at condos on the 3000 block of Stratton Way at 2:08 p.m. to find water pouring from the top of a door frame and collecting on the entryway and living room floors of a downstairs unit. After stepping inside, crews found more water flowing around a ceiling vent just off the living room, and drywall joints throughout the ceiling were damaged.    Read the article………….
