Golden Gate golf course where homes proposed will reopen for season (FL)
The course has been closed since last spring, a few months after owner Robert Vocisano petitioned the county to change the course’s zoning to allow him to tear it out and build as many as 700 units of homes, apartments and assisted-living facilities……A nearby homeowners association also has sued the club, saying the owners’ deed requires them to keep the land as a golf course.
