Condo Culture: Lack of open, honest communication creates friction

Q. I wrote a letter to our board of directors requesting that I be able to attend the next board meeting. I would like a one-on-one meeting to discuss some issues. I received a response informing me to submit my issues by letter and the board will discuss them at their next meeting. I would like to voice my issues personally.
