DeBordieu completes 5 years as Firewise community
Blanche Brown, general manager of the DeBordieu Colony Community Association, said that over the last five years, DeBordieu residents have committed time, effort and resources to mitigate the risks to their homes and landscape from wildfire. “Since we are located between two large, undeveloped forested tracts of land, being firewise is very important to us,” Brown said. “It provides safety for our residents and also helps control wildlife in the community.” Read the article………….
