Disgruntled homeowners association resident ordered to pay fee (MI)

A judge ordered a woman to pay $700 she owes to her housing association after she withheld her monthly fee due to her complaints about the association’s operations.  Judge Carrie Fuca of 41B District Court in Clinton Township on Tuesday told Joanie Dickerson that withholding the payments was the wrong way to force the board of the North Rose Towne Houses Improvement Association in Mount Clemens to resolve her complaints. Fuca told Dickerson she should continue to pay her $50 monthly fee and can pursue the matter in Macomb County Circuit Court.    Read the article…………..
