Judge dismisses part of suit against Athens landlord Moorman, but some claims remain (GA)

Superior Court Judge Lawton Stephens has dismissed part of a lawsuit against Fred Moorman, but that won’t end the Athens landlord’s legal woes.   Stephens ruled that the 16 owners of 10 condominiums in the Heritage Square development couldn’t sue Moorman under the state’s civil racketeering law. The judge let stand three other claims of damages, however, meaning the lawsuit can proceed.    Read the article………………..
