Drought realities: HOA cuts down pine trees to save water (NV)

Fallout from Nevada’s severe drought is hitting very close to home for people who live in the area of Silverado Ranch near Spencer. Countless pine trees have been cut down because they’re too expensive to maintain.  “It took my breath away,” said resident Sheri Barsoum. “I thought I felt like they are killing something, which they are, they’re killing the trees.
