Hermine causes flooding, strands neighbors in Cameron Village (SC)

Tropical Storm Hermine caused major flooding in the Cameron Village neighborhood off Highway 707. The storm left huge puddles of water in some areas of the neighborhood, leaving many neighbors stuck.  “Fifty percent of our community is still underwater and they can’t get out,” said Pete Brotherton on Saturday morning. “The water isn’t getting out of our community at the pace it should be. Emergency services can’t get in here, some of our residents can’t get out to get to work. We just want a solution to the problem.”     Read the article……………
