Flash flood forecast as small Callaway County lake dam fails (MO)

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for sections of a central Missouri county because of a failing dam on a small lake.  The weather service issued the warning Wednesday for parts of Callaway County because the dam at Glovers Spring Lake east of Fulton is failing. When the dam fails, floodwaters will move down Crows Fork Creek and the Auxvasse Creek, impacting a few county roadways.  People in the path of the water are advised to move to higher ground……the 35-acre lake is owned by a homeowners association.    Read the article…………..
