A General Release – Not Just Legalese

Recently I was asked to review a settlement agreement incident to some minor termite damage repairs to be performed for a community association by a pest control company. There was an underlying multi-year service agreement between the parties as well as a repair and retreatment warranty in favor of the association. The service agreement required that any new termite damage repairs and retreatment would be made at the sole expense of the pest control company.      Read more……..
