After 36 days, Heron’s Landing case going to jury

Five weeks and one day after they reported to the Duval County Courthouse for jury service, a six member jury will begin likely deliberations in the case against DR Horton Tuesday.  The lengthy and complicated trial pits the Jacksonville community of Heron’s Landing against the developer, DR Horton. Condo residents and experts testified that the Beach Boulevard structures violate Florida building code, and are riddled with defects, including cracked stucco, leaking roofs, and failing windows and sliding glass doors.   Read the article…………
