Homeowner: HOA hasn’t cleared land near Hawken Fire in five years

Although the Hawken Fire has been 100 percent contained, questions about where the fire started and why that land wasn’t cleared of flammable vegetation remain.  Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District confirmed to News 4 that the fire’s point of origin was behind a home on Pronghorn Court. According to Washoe County, several parcels behind the home are owned by the Caughlin Ranch Homeowners Association.     Read the article……………..
