Homeowners association treasurer may avoid prison (CT)

The former president and treasurer of the 94-member Arbor Ridge Homeowners Association in Torrington is expected to be sentenced today in Litchfield Superior Court to a suspended prison term along with a promise to pay back the rest of what he stole.  Roger Okenquist, 53, of 683 Heron Road, is expected to be sentenced to 15 years, all of it suspended, and five years of probation.
