Homeowners’ associations have right to foreclose (NC)

This week in the Legal Corner, we will explore how one could possibly face losing his or her home for failure to pay homeowners association dues.  Previously, we discussed an HOA’s authority to assess fees and require dues to be paid for the maintenance of common areas in a residential housing development.
