Honeybee Canyon trail access taken to court (AZ)

The decision to shut down access to the popular Honey Bee trail system in Oro Valley was in court Friday.  In a last ditch effort, a member of the mountain bike community took the Honey Bee Ridge Estates HOA to court. The plaintiff was looking for a temporary restraining order to suspend the HOA’s decision to block off access to state trust land where more than 15 miles of riding trails exist.  The plaintiff argued that after more than 10 years of unrestricted use, cyclists should have a prescriptive right over the easement.    Read the article…………….
