Crown Point hydrant billing fix in the works (IL)

Negotiations are underway to remedy the longtime triple billing for fire hydrant services in a privately maintained subdivision and bring its streets into the city inventory.  Residents of the Prairie View subdivision and their homeowners’ association had been paying for hydrants along the subdivision’s streets three times until the error was uncovered about eight years ago.      Read the article…………….
