Island woes continue one year after storm (FL)

One year after Hurricane Hermine and The Islands is practically a ghost town.  A once-thriving condominium community west of Crystal River has come to a near standstill, as a Sarasota contractor hired days after Hermine’s flooding receded is still working its way through renovations to 167 condo units.  The contractor, Statewide Restoration Services II LLC, pulled permits in December for plumbing, electrical and general construction work for all the damaged units.     Read the article…………….
