Judge rules in favor of Killearn Country Club owner (FL)

A Leon County Circuit judge Thursday ruled in favor of the owner of the Killearn Country Club, clearing a hurdle for him to further pursue plans to sell and develop a disputed parcel of land.  But Barton Tuck still needs city commissioners to approve a comprehensive plan rezoning of the former nine-hole golf course, called the Narrows, which has been closed for more than a year. Three nine-hole golf courses are within Killearn Country Club.  Residents who live along the Narrows course said their property values would go down and traffic would increase if the land were to be developed. Through court filings, they sought to have the land remain a golf course.     Read the article…………….
