Land deal allows Matanuska River subdivision (AK) to keep ATV-blocking gate

Residents in a long-settled subdivision nestled above the Matanuska River last year spent their own money on a locked gate that blocks a once-popular motorized river access.  The gate now barricades what some residents of the 54-member Mountain View Homeowners Association described this week as a parade of speeding vehicles, moose poaching, shooting near homes, haphazard parking and trash including hypodermic needles and condoms.    Read the article………..
