Manhattan designer says $800 fine for hanging peace sign in condo window is unconstitutional (NY)

Give peace another chance.  A Manhattan designer fined $800 by the city for hanging an illuminated peace sign in her window once again argued the regulation is unconstitutional.  Brigitte Vosse, 61, was hit with the hefty fine for placing the light-up sign in the window of her Upper West Side condo, located on the 17th floor of the tony Ansonia building.  The city claimed Vosse had violated zoning regulations that bans illuminated signs above 40 feet in select parts of the city, including her neighborhood.   Read the article……………
