Marco (FL) votes to include condos in new rental rules
After months of flip-flopping on its votes, Marco Island City Council Monday voted to include condos in its short-term rental ordinance, despite massive opposition from condo owners. Council voted 4-3, with councilors Victor Ríos, Bob Brown and Larry Honig against, to require property owners to pay to register rentals of 364 days or less and undergo fire inspections.
