In one Bexar County neighborhood, debate over armed patrols intensifies (TX)

A handful of residents concerned about a rash of car burglaries at The Oaks at Cobblestone, a gated subdivision outside of Loop 1604 at Culebra Road, formed armed patrols last week intended to keep the neighborhood safe.  The approach was controversial from the start, with some homeowners saying armed patrols could lead to intimidation of their neighbors and to profiling, or suspecting a person of a crime based on the person’s appearance.   Read the article…………
