Neighborhood petitions to pay for road repairs (AZ)

A sprawling Green Valley neighborhood of large lots and crumbling streets is the first to launch plans to strike a deal with the county to go 50-50 on paying for road repairs.   Thirteen property owners on two streets off La Canada Drive south of Continental Road have taken steps to form a county improvement district (CID) which, according to preliminary calculations, will cost each lot owner roughly $4,600 over five years, or nearly $100 a month.    Read the article……………..
