Playa del Rey condo owners file lawsuit over Westside ‘road diet’ (CA)

The first lawsuit has been filed in the brewing battle over a recent “road diet” in Playa del Rey that eliminated 9.4 miles of traffic lanes on major streets, causing gridlock and irking South Bay commuters.  A 17-page complaint filed Wednesday against the city of Los Angeles, Mayor Eric Garcetti and Councilman Mike Bonin was brought by the Breakers at Westport Condominium Homeowners Association, which represents the owners of 46 affluent beach-front town houses at 7310 Vista del Mar.    Read the article………..
