Path to discrimination? AZ Legislature OKs religious freedom bill

(Editor’s note: When I first started this web site, I annually gave out an award for the dumbest proposed condo/HOA legislation.  I eventually named it the “Arizoonie” because Arizona won it every year.  I finally retired it because again, Arizona always won.  Well, here they go again, although this legislation only empowers associations to do really dumb things.)

Arizona is, once again, making national headlines for passing a controversial piece of legislation. On Thursday afternoon the House passed a Republican-backed bill that expands the rights of people to assert their religious beliefs in refusing service to gays and others.     Read more……..
