About 100 ‘primarily elderly’ residents displaced after 7-alarm fire rips through North Dallas condos (TX)

About 100 people were displaced after a 7-alarm fire caused extensive damage to condos in North Dallas overnight.  Crews responded to the 6200 block of West Northwest Highway, near Preston Road, just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.   As residents, who are primarily elderly,” calmly exited the four-story condominium building, smoke turned into flames and the response escalated, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said.     Read the article………….
