Power outage causes Sarasota condo sewerage system to fail (FL)

Problems abound whenever the power goes out. But for residents at the Fairway Woods condominium complex, Wednesday morning began with an unpleasant sight and smell that stemmed directly from the weekend’s outage.  Around 7:30 a.m. the community’s sewerage lift station failed, spewing gallons of raw waste into the area. Residents say without power, the station was unable to handle the community’s sewerage, which has accumulated over the past several days.     Read the article…………..
