With tons of silt infiltrating an east Tuscaloosa neighborhood’s private lake, city officials are moving forward with a plan to help halt the damage. The Tuscaloosa City Council has agreed to pursue a grant of up to $100,000 for a study of the Patton Lake watershed…….. The city’s efforts come as welcome news to Michael Quinn, president of the Woodland Hills Homeowner’s Association, and Jim Shaddox of the Woodland Hills Lake Owners Association. “As president of the neighborhood association, we would welcome any assistance in remedying the problem of that lake filling up,” said Quinn, who has lived in Woodland Hills since 2010 and headed the homeowners group for about three years. “It would be very exciting if something could happen.” Read the article…………….
