Condo soars in recycling challenge

A Scarborough building and condo community has led the way on the 3 Rs.  They reduced, reused and recycled common household goods and cut down costs through the Mayor’s Towering Challenge.  Jim Paterson, a tenant at the Omni Forest Mansion condo and townhouse complex at Brimley Rd. and Ellesmere Ave., said Monday that utilizing specific bins for electronics and household hazardous waste — like batteries, cooking oils and paint cans — “has really taken off.”     Read the article…………..
