The fire that killed three people at the Marco Polo Apartments condominium tower in Honolulu could have been less severe if the building had a sprinkler system in place. Residents began returning to the 36-story tower on Saturday after Friday’s five-alarm fire tore through parts of the 26th and 27th floors, leaving 12 units “heavily damaged,” the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported. Those floors, plus a few other upper floors were closed off on Saturday, a security employee told the newspaper. Read the article…………….
