State (NY): Homeowner’s association probably discriminated against black resident

The state Division of Human Rights has found that a homeowner’s association probably discriminated against a black female resident, according to a Sept. 17 determination.  The agency says its investigation reveals “probable cause” to support evidence of Linda Abraham’s 2014 claim that she was discriminated against by the homeowners association of Patio Homes – the Kiamesha Shores Property Owners Association.
