1 Million Properties in Tristate Area Face High Risk of Flooding (NY)

With horrific scenes of Hurricane Helene-induced flooding in the Southeast still dominating the news cycle, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has released a harrowing statistic: nearly 1 million houses and multifamily buildings in the tristate New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area — one in 10 properties — are at high risk of flooding.
