Australia: Don’t Be a Nuisance

/ Owner - June 8, 2021

Nuisance is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as: “a person or thing causing inconvenience or annoyance.”  In NSW, private nuisance laws are generally derived from case law (the common law), rather than statutes and legislation.  Nuisance can be used to address a number of environmental concerns including interference with your enjoyment of property caused by dust, noise, vibration, sewerage, odours, light and the flow of water.
