Some HOAs have broad authority to inspect private homes for violations (FL)

Question: Our HOA governing documents allow for annual inspections of private homes. However, the HOA-designated inspector apparently has an “inspection obsession” resulting in many inspections over a six-month period. The inspector spends more time exploring the exterior of my private property than I, the homeowner, do. Also, there appears to be no respect for privacy, since the inspector prowls outside of the master bedroom window looking for so-called “violations” (however petty.)     Read the Q&A……………….
