Something happened early this month that apparently has rattled a secluded Springfield neighborhood of broad lawns and beautiful homes. A metal gate went up blocking a narrow, private and potholed road that connects the Brentwood neighborhood with King’s Way United Methodist Church, at 2401 S. Lone Pine Ave. This might not seem like a big deal to you. Or to me.
